About The Position

Palm Aire Country Club is a private, member-owned country club seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor (Captain) who leads by example and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead the floor, supervise and support the service team, coordinate dining and events, and wait tables as part of your role. We offer a competitive hourly rate with the opportunity to earn additional tips. Requirements

• Previous food and beverage experience, preferably in a country club, resort, hotel or quality dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of dining room service and hospitality standards.
• Ability to lead by example and work alongside the service team, including waiting tables as needed.
• Excellent communication and member service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Dependable, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work Wednesdays and Sundays.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, special events and occasional Mondays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Food Handler certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory, Captain or other hospitality leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and supervise/support the service team.
• Coordinate dining and events.
• Wait tables as part of the role.
• Lead preservice meetings.
• Oversee dining and event setup.
• Monitor the flow and timing of service.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations.
• Be a visible presence for members, handling questions, special requests, and concerns professionally.
• Notice when a server needs help, catch details before a member has to ask, and ensure the team has what they need to succeed.
