About The Position

The F&B Runner is responsible for ensuring maximum levels of guest service by efficiently cleaning and resetting tables, restocking supplies, and delivering food from the commissary to various venues. This role requires adherence to operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and departmental policies. The position also involves maintaining a clean and functional work area, promoting outstanding customer relations with an upbeat and outgoing demeanor, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. The F&B Runner must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, and inventory control, and must be able to notify appropriate staff when assistance is needed. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely serve beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
  • Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, food holding, cleaning, and beverage dispensing systems, etc.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures maximum levels of guest service are experienced by dining room guests by quickly and efficiently stripping, cleaning and resetting tables.
  • Cleans and restocks the bars, concessions and dining rooms with required supply items.
  • Delivers food from commissary to Food and Beverage Venues.
  • Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensures appearance of assigned station or service areas are maintained in a clean and functional manner.
  • Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, and inventory control policies, practices, and protocols.
  • Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
