About The Position

Responsible for providing exemplary guest service in any of our restaurants by performing tasks including greeting & seating guests, packaging to-go orders. The F&B Host will greet guests and seat them at tables suitable to their needs, take, prepare, and package food orders, and inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. They will also speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, perform general upkeep to designated areas, and stock merchandise and supplies as needed. Additionally, the F&B Host will assist other floor personnel, perform all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort guest service standards, maintain general knowledge and provide information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs, and services, and provide input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 or older
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally.
  • Ability to take care of the guests’ needs while following company procedures.
  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One year of experience as host/hostess preferred.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred.
  • Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date.
  • Must obtain VIP (Visually Intoxicated Person) Permit within 45 days of the start date.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing food preparation and service.
  • Basic math skills.
