About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Front of House Manager/Supervisor for the Winter 2026-27 season. This role is within a dynamic food and beverage department that includes 16 outlets ranging from casual to fine dining, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort is located in Park City, Utah, and emphasizes a diverse and welcoming workforce. This is a seasonal position with opportunities for growth and a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Food and beverage experience preferred
• At least two years in a supervisory capacity
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Must be an excellent communicator and team player
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise, train, and direct front-of-house staff, delegating tasks and monitoring performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Manage payroll accuracy, cash handling, house banks, cash controls, end-of-day reconciliations, and sales reporting.
• Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and facility operations, including opening/closing procedures and adherence to published operating hours.
• Maintain inventory controls for food, beverage, liquor, wine, and supplies, and coordinate ordering to meet business demands.
• Ensure accurate POS transactions, service charges, voids, and compliance with all cash handling and operational procedures.
• Provide hands-on operational support by assisting with bartending, serving, expediting, bussing, guest service, and break coverage as needed.
• Support special events, banquets, reservations, and interdepartmental operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Maintain operational logs, performance records, and equipment/facility oversight while implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
