About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking individuals for supervisory or management positions within its 16 food and beverage outlets for the 2026-27 winter season. These outlets range from casual to fine dining, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations. The resort is located in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in Park City. Requirements

  • At least two years in a supervisory capacity
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Must be an excellent communicator and team player
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, supervise, train, and direct front-of-house staff, delegating tasks and monitoring performance, attendance, and productivity.
  • Manage payroll accuracy, cash handling, house banks, cash controls, end-of-day reconciliations, and sales reporting.
  • Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and facility operations, including opening/closing procedures and adherence to published operating hours.
  • Maintain inventory controls for food, beverage, liquor, wine, and supplies, and coordinate ordering to meet business demands.
  • Ensure accurate POS transactions, service charges, voids, and compliance with all cash handling and operational procedures.
  • Provide hands-on operational support by assisting with bartending, serving, expediting, bussing, guest service, and break coverage as needed.
  • Support special events, banquets, reservations, and interdepartmental operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Maintain operational logs, performance records, and equipment/facility oversight while implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
