About The Position

The Food & Beverage Cashier position works under the direct supervision of the F&B Supervisors. The cashier is responsible for ringing up all food transactions. They are proficient in money handling. They can make correct change and keep all receipts and paperwork organized. They are proficient in mixing and pouring beverages and abide by specific beverage recipes. They must have excellent customer service skills, as they are the first interaction with guests. They may also be asked to assist the host or busser on duty; they must ensure food quality and uphold high food safety and health standards. The F&B Cashier is proficient in multiple outlets of F&B and may/will be expected to work in multiple locations. This position serves as a dual rated position and may/will be assigned multiple positions within the F&B department such as Server, Busser, Cashier, Host, and Expeditor. This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class II Gaming License.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Knowledge of State and County sanitation procedures.
  • Obtain and retain Washington State Food Handlers Permit.
  • A pleasant personality, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will comply with all Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel Policies and Procedures, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Ringing up all food transactions.
  • Proficient in money handling, making correct change, and organizing receipts and paperwork.
  • Proficient in mixing and pouring beverages according to specific recipes.
  • Providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact for guests.
  • Assisting the host or busser on duty as needed.
  • Ensuring food quality and upholding high food safety and health standards.
  • Working in multiple F&B outlets and locations.
  • Serving as a dual-rated position, potentially assigned multiple roles within the F&B department (Server, Busser, Cashier, Host, Expeditor).
  • Ensuring the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest records.
  • Promoting positive guest and team member relations.
  • Keeping hostess/register area stocked, clean, and presentable.
  • Checking IDs and collecting signatures for all card transactions.
  • Helping to clear and set tables when needed.
  • Being knowledgeable about menu and liquor items.
  • Working safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment, techniques, and products.
  • Being friendly, helpful, and courteous with other Team Members and guests.
  • Being at workstation on time and prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
  • Preparing and serving hot or cold beverages.
  • Preparing and serving Ice Cream.
  • Checking temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Maintaining high food safety and health standards.
  • Maintaining inventory logs as required.
  • Counting and accurately recording gift shop inventory monthly.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
