The Food & Beverage Cashier position works under the direct supervision of the F&B Supervisors. The cashier is responsible for ringing up all food transactions. They are proficient in money handling. They can make correct change and keep all receipts and paperwork organized. They are proficient in mixing and pouring beverages and abide by specific beverage recipes. They must have excellent customer service skills, as they are the first interaction with guests. They may also be asked to assist the host or busser on duty; they must ensure food quality and uphold high food safety and health standards. The F&B Cashier is proficient in multiple outlets of F&B and may/will be expected to work in multiple locations. This position serves as a dual rated position and may/will be assigned multiple positions within the F&B department such as Server, Busser, Cashier, Host, and Expeditor. This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
