About The Position

Sandcastle Hotel on the Beach is seeking a F&B Attendant (Server) to deliver exceptional dining experiences. This role involves providing safe, friendly, and attentive service to guests, making them feel welcome. Responsibilities include efficiently and courteously assisting guests with food and beverage orders, operating the POS system, preparing beverages, running food, bussing tables, and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of dining areas and equipment. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work afternoons/evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing safe, friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel welcome and like they are part of our family
  • Efficiently and courteously assist guests and patrons with food / beverage orders
  • Operate POS
  • Prepare all beverages
  • Run food
  • Buss tables
  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of dining areas and equipment
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members and assist in resolving guest complaints as needed
  • Courteously take guest orders at the counter / bar area, enter into POS and complete payment while make recommendations, up selling
  • Adhere to all Cash Handling and accounting procedures
  • Run food and beverages to guest tables, check-in with and monitor guests’ experience throughout their visit to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests as ordered
  • Complete all opening and closing duties and all side work as assigned
  • Buss tables, wipe down and reset the table for the next guests
  • Assist with cleaning dining are (Mopping, Sweeping and Dusting)
  • Ensure cleanliness is up to health code standards at all times
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of service areas
  • Adhere to food safety requirements
  • Answer phone promptly, taking to go orders courteously
  • Requisition necessary dining room supplies and transport from storage area to dining room
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
