About The Position

As a lead program manager, you will design, implement, and maintain programs while guiding the client through complex challenges. You will organize and coordinate program objectives and direct a team as it addresses requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. You will support the client’s mission and identify opportunities to grow the business in the Air Power market. The role also provides opportunities to apply and expand expertise in problem management, strategic planning, contract review, and program management methodologies. The work supports the client’s modernization efforts to protect against future threats.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience supporting a program office, such as a DoD acquisition program office.
• Experience with DoD aviation acquisition or modernization programs.
• Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes.
• Knowledge of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DoD 5th Generation fighter aircraft acquisition.
• Experience working in a DoD classified program.
• Ability to work in a highly demanding and highly visible program.
• Ability to communicate and work across multiple teams and with leadership.
• TS/SCI clearance.
