About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced F-16 Mission Systems Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership supporting the Air Force test community at Eglin AFB. The role supports integration, testing, and evaluation of advanced F-16 mission-system modifications and emerging capabilities. The SME works with engineers, aircrew, and government stakeholders to support successful integration efforts, rigorous test activities, and high-quality technical solutions. The position leads integration of autonomy-enabling F-16 modifications with the aircraft mission systems suite and provides technical leadership for system modifications, test planning, and test execution. It serves as a technical resource on F-16 architecture, avionics, communications, integration approaches, and test techniques, while also leading integration and test events in the Software Integration Laboratory (SIL). The SME develops and refines Human-Machine Interface concepts, supports flight-test activities and mission-control-room roles, and presents designs, recommendations, findings, and status to project teams and review boards. The role is onsite at Eglin AFB, Florida, with a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule and 0–10% travel. Relocation assistance is not available.
