About The Position

Boeing's Global Services Maintenance Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated Mid-level - F-15 Hydro Mechanical Support Engineering Data Specialist with fighter maintenance platform experience in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this role, you will develop and update F-15 maintenance publications for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and USAF models by interpreting engineering sources and adhering to specifications, processes, and established style and format requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in aircraft maintenance, specifically with F-15 Hydro Mechanical skills, possess strong communication and collaboration skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working effectively with stakeholders and business partners in a geographically dispersed team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with defense systems and platforms
  • 3+ years experience in two or more of the following domains: Avionics, Hydro Mechanical, Mechanisms, Radar, Sensors, Structural Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point)
  • 1+ years of experience with reading engineering drawings/blueprints
  • 1+ years of experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro for manipulating, editing, and cropping PDF files
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
  • Develops, analyzes, collects, and stores various system support technical data elements and specification to evaluate and make recommendations.
  • Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems.
  • Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report.
  • Determines spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type.
  • Prepares and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components.
  • Reviews and evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty.
