About The Position

Ravago is a manufacturing company that produces a wide range of plastic and rubber materials from high performance engineered resins to recycled post-consumer materials. We are looking for Production Technicians to lead the safe and efficient production of quality material that meets customer requirements. Work in a non-climate controlled environment. Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures. Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct.

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• Regularly required to communicate verbally, read and comprehend information, and type when needed.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry 55 lbs.
• Repeatedly reach with hands and arms.
• Climb straight incline ladders.
• Have use of fingers and hands for packaging and writing.
• Must have color vision.

Responsibilities

• Move, load and package Raw and Finished Goods.
• Complete box sheets correctly with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
• Ensure that boxes are labelled correctly – Product ID, correct weights and any other customer requirements.
• Retrieve a quality sample from each box to place on the quality board for that line for quality inspections.
• Complete change overs from one product to another, ensuring there isn’t any contamination.
• Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes of mixed materials to top of the extruder.
