Extrusion Operator
About The Position
The Thermoforming/Extrusion Operator works under the direction of the Production Senior Lead and Production Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient production of high-quality products. The role is responsible for operating thermoforming and/or extrusion production equipment safely and efficiently and performing minor repairs as directed or trained. The operator also actively and professionally trains less experienced full-time and temporary associates to help meet and exceed production needs. Associates may be assigned other duties as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence certificate; equivalent experience may substitute when the associate demonstrates the necessary skills and capability.
- Experience in plastics thermoforming is required.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate thermoforming and/or extrusion production equipment.
