About The Position

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting bulk roll film extrusion equipment to ensure the production of high-quality products. The role involves monitoring equipment, conducting quality checks, managing materials, and collaborating with team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements

High School Diploma, equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to read precision measuring tools accurately.
Adaptability to handle shifting production priorities and short-notice overtime.
Commitment to safety, open communication, and eagerness to cross-train.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material handling machinery per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures.
Conduct routine tests and inspect product dimensions using calibrated measuring tools.
Identify equipment abnormalities, analyze root causes, and suggest continuous improvements to reduce waste and rework.
Load raw materials, manage machine controls, and unload finished goods.
Maintain accurate production logs.
Actively support site safety standards and collaborate across teams to achieve shared production goals.
