The Trainee should exhibit work traits indicating that they are an able and willing worker, as well as, have a good attitude and morale toward their job and fellow employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Should exhibit mathematical skills necessary to perform certain calculations and formulas as used in the extrusion area.
• Must possess mechanical skills consistent with those required to operate and maintain an extrusion line
• Must be physically capable of lifting 25 pounds over head, lifting 60 pounds up to 5 feet high and using a pallet jack to transport product up to 2,500 pounds

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an extrusion machine by following set procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements
• Document process setting and production information as needed
• Demonstrate capability to follow specific instructions and learn elements of the operation
• Exhibit ability and willingness to follow supervision on job assignments
• Demonstrate the potential to become a qualified extruder operator after 60 days on the job
