Extrusion Night
About The Position
The Extrusion Manufacturing Position is an hourly manufacturing role in the Extrusion (BWD) department in Clearfield, Utah. The work takes place in a high-temperature area, approximately 5–10 degrees above other areas of the plant. The role involves assisting with or operating machinery, inspecting material with measuring tools, maintaining specified tolerances, and moving material between departments. The position pays $19.50 per hour and follows a night-shift schedule of 12-hour shifts. In Week 1, the schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Thursday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM. In Week 2, the schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Overtime may be needed.
Requirements
- Spanish/English bilingual ability is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Comfort using a computer for data entry and information retrieval.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50–60 pounds.
