About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Extrusion Manager to lead extrusion operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role oversees daily production activities, ensures quality standards, optimizes processes, and manages a team to meet production goals efficiently and safely. The preferred candidate has a background in extrusion manufacturing and leadership, along with strong knowledge of extrusion equipment, processes, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in extrusion manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of extrusion equipment, processes, and quality standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the extrusion production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Monitor extrusion processes and equipment performance to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and address equipment issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate extrusion staff to promote professional growth and high performance.
• Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and supply chain teams to support overall production goals.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.
