About The Position

The Extrusion Operator fabricates and produces component parts for final window assembly. This entry-level production role involves repetitive work loading materials onto a table for foam filling and returning them to a rack for backfilling. The foam-fill process involves inserting a foam gun tip into a profile and dispensing resin and ISO chemicals to create a foam reaction. The role is performed in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment and may involve work across a variety of departments. Team members are expected to follow safety procedures to prevent injury to themselves and coworkers.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble.
Ability to be cross-trained in multiple functions within and between department lines.
Ability to meet lifting requirements: 20 lbs. frequently and 40 lbs. occasionally for light production; 40 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally for heavy production.
Ability to stand or walk on a concrete floor for up to a twelve-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Load material onto a table for foam filling and return it to a rack for backfilling.
Insert the foam gun tip into profiles and dispense resin and ISO chemicals for the foam reaction.
Fabricate and assemble building-material components using hand and power tools.
Follow all safety procedures and practices.
Be cross-trained in multiple functions within and across department lines.
