About The Position

The Extrusion Operator fabricates and produces component parts for the final assembly of windows. This is an entry-level production role involving repetitive work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Duties include loading material onto a table for foam filling and returning it to a rack for back filling. The process involves inserting a foam gun tip into a profile and applying resin and ISO chemicals, which combine to create foam. The position may involve tasks in a variety of departments. Employees must understand and follow safety procedures to prevent injury to themselves and coworkers.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble.
Ability to be cross-trained in multiple functions within and between department lines.
Ability to stand or walk on a concrete floor for up to a twelve-hour shift.
Lifting requirements: 20 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally for light production; 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally for heavy production.
