About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Night Shift Extruder Operator to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule for this role is a 12-hour night shift, working from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM. The work week alternates between four days (Monday - Thursday) and three days (Monday - Wednesday). This role operates within a fast-paced environment with a variation of job tasks, and the company emphasizes living its values.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Works from prints, sketches, and specifications
• Completes quality checks
• Operates extrusion equipment
• Uses power-driven tools
• Fills out production reports
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
