Extruder Operator
About The Position
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Production Operators / Extruder Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Brunswick, Ohio. This position is responsible for operating production equipment used in the manufacturing process while maintaining quality, efficiency, and workplace safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with industrial machinery and production processes. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, climb ladders/platforms, and perform physical labor
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Good attendance and reliability required
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
- Weigh and mix raw materials according to production formulas
- Operate mixers, extruders, grinding mills, hoists, and related equipment
- Perform quality checks and accurately document production data
- Set and adjust machine operating parameters
- Assist with equipment cleaning and partial disassembly/reassembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
