Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled student, depending on employer requirements).
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 pounds.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases, questions, and product selection.
• Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain organized displays.
• Receive, unpack, and label merchandise shipments.
• Assist with textbook sales, rentals, buybacks, and returns.
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Support promotional events and special sales activities.
• Follow store policies regarding cash handling and customer service.
