About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking an energetic, motivated, and dependable Research Assistant (part-time) to join our research team in the Plant Science Department. This role will involve assisting with field, greenhouse, and laboratory research related to horticultural crops, plant production, sample collection, nutritional and phytochemical analyses, and data collection. Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in horticulture and nutraceutical research.
• Willingness to work actively in field, greenhouse, and laboratory environments.
• Energetic, hardworking, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities
