Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is seeking rising third-year law students or recent graduates to sponsor for post-graduate attorney public interest fellowships. These fellowships, such as Equal Justice Works, Justice Catalyst, Skadden, or law school-sponsored opportunities, would allow the selected candidate to work with ERA for one to two years, beginning in Fall 2027. ERA is a national civil rights organization founded in 1974, dedicated to expanding access and opportunities for women and girls, primarily in employment and education. ERA engages in impact litigation, policy advocacy, public education, and direct legal services. The fellowship will be based in either the San Francisco or Washington, DC area and will operate on a hybrid or remote basis. ERA collaborates with prospective fellows to develop project proposals addressing critical gender justice issues and aligning with organizational priorities. The responsibilities will involve a combination of litigation work and counseling individuals with legal needs. ERA has a history of securing fellowship awards and is committed to supporting candidates through the application process.
