Requirements

Bachelor's degree completed in Administration, Supply Chain profile or other related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing planning and/or as a buyer.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory.
Knowledge of English, both oral and written, is required for occasional communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
Being able to commute to our head-office in Saint-Hubert 2-3 times per week.
Results-oriented and good time management skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good team spirit.
Autonomous.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in a multinational company (global relations).
Experience with SAP (especially Rapid Response and Apo).
APICS certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure product availability: Plan product purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third parties) based on the level of service targeted for the portfolio in line with the Global objectives.
Do follow ups with the suppliers and execute the purchasing plan.
Analyze and validate the potential shortage report, the BO report and expiry dates.
Present the expected shortages or risk at the weekly Customer Protect meeting.
Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities and share opportunities or impacts on the supply.
Participate in the Life cycle management team projects in order to operationalize various changes (manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc).
Attend and help in the preparation of the business reviews (S&OP) with suppliers in order to present market realities and ensure Canada’s prioritization.
