Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Administration, Supply Chain profile or other related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing planning and/or as a buyer.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of English, both oral and written, is required for occasional communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Being able to commute to our head-office in Saint-Hubert 2-3 times per week.
  • Results-oriented and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good team spirit.
  • Autonomous.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in a multinational company (global relations).
  • Experience with SAP (especially Rapid Response and Apo).
  • APICS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product availability: Plan product purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third parties) based on the level of service targeted for the portfolio in line with the Global objectives.
  • Do follow ups with the suppliers and execute the purchasing plan.
  • Analyze and validate the potential shortage report, the BO report and expiry dates.
  • Present the expected shortages or risk at the weekly Customer Protect meeting.
  • Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities and share opportunities or impacts on the supply.
  • Participate in the Life cycle management team projects in order to operationalize various changes (manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc).
  • Attend and help in the preparation of the business reviews (S&OP) with suppliers in order to present market realities and ensure Canada’s prioritization.
