About The Position

Behaviour Interactive is a dynamic, independent game studio headquartered in Montreal, with over 1200 passionate employees and additional studios in Toronto, Rotterdam, and the UK. We focus on two core business areas: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with major gaming and entertainment companies, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering location-based entertainment. Our Original Games unit pushes creative boundaries with signature IPs like Dead by Daylight. The ideal candidate will combine production expertise with strong communication and organizational skills to drive alignment, quality, and efficiency across all external development initiatives, fostering trust-based relationships with diverse collaborators.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a production leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience managing external development pipelines, outsourcing partnerships, or co-development initiatives within the video game industry.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of game development, including production planning, art pipelines, programming constraints, QA, audio, localization, and live operations.
  • Proven experience using Agile production and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday, or similar platforms.
  • Solid artistic or technical expertise relevant to asset review and validation, with the ability to assess quality, consistency, and implementation requirements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset, resilience to ambiguity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and support external partners throughout production, ensuring clear integration into the development pipeline, workflows, tools, and expectations.
  • Act as the primary communication liaison between internal teams and external collaborators, translating project needs into clear, actionable guidance and feedback.
  • Define asset briefs, production requirements, and quality expectations in collaboration with art, technical, and production leadership.
  • Review outsourced deliverables to ensure alignment with the project’s artistic vision, technical specifications, quality standards, and in-engine performance requirements.
  • Identify production risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, communicate them proactively, and support mitigation strategies to maintain delivery goals.
  • Lead and support a team dedicated to the review and validation of externally produced assets, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
