The purpose of this job is to focus on diagnosing and repairing Exterior Signs & Lighting work orders. This role involves identifying potential and existing problems with electrical signage and lighting, providing analysis and investigation of issues, and determining the best solution for needed repairs. The technician will follow proper lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols, complete service appointments with accurate notes, and communicate with facility maintenance. They will ensure timely completion of service appointments, respond to service requests, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair based on warranty and industry standards. Communication with the ESL supervisor and store management regarding repair status is essential, as is providing excellent customer service and collaborating to meet project deadlines. The role also includes completing same-day work order repair notes, monitoring truck stock, maintaining service vehicles and tools, performing routine testing and calibration, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, maintaining worksite safety, and providing support during emergency situations. The technician will model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose and ensure all activities comply with safety rules and regulations. Travel is required less than 75% of the time, and OSHA30 certification is necessary. Other duties may be assigned.
