Pressure Washing Tech - Night Shift
About The Position
SOR is hiring an Exterior Cleaning Technician for a full-time night-shift role focused on pressure washing and holiday lighting. The role includes paid, hands-on training: a two-hour orientation on Friday, October 9, followed by two weeks of day-shift training Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM. After training, the regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with a 7:00 or 7:30 PM start. Technicians travel to job sites daily from the Charlotte warehouse. Starting pay is $18 per hour for candidates without experience and $19 per hour for candidates with similar experience. Weekly pay is deposited every Friday. Prior outdoor or physical work is helpful but not required; full training is provided. Technicians who demonstrate initiative, dependability, and professionalism may be able to move into salaried LT roles quickly. The role requires safe handling of hoses, wands, ladders, and safety harnesses; compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards; and work at heights within fall-protection guidelines. The position involves lifting or pulling up to 75 pounds and holding equipment overhead for stretches of time. SOR is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- Valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Dependable transportation to the Charlotte warehouse at 1392 Center Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28217.
- Dependability and ability to report on site as scheduled.
- Comfort working at heights.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal safety instructions in English.
- Willingness to raise questions early when something is unclear or off track.
- Drug-free, safety-first mindset and professional conduct on the job.
- Physical capability to lift or pull up to 75 pounds and hold equipment overhead for stretches of time.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and follow fall-protection guidelines.
