About The Position

Oklahoma State University (OSU) Extension educators serve as the primary link between the university and the residents of Oklahoma, operating in all 77 counties. Established in 1914, OSU Extension is a collaborative effort involving federal, state, and county entities. Its core mission is to disseminate research-based information and promote the adoption of knowledge generated by OSU research across Oklahoma. Extension educators deliver this information to the public in key areas such as agriculture, family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development, and community and rural development. This specific position is based in the Blaine County Extension Office in Watonga, Oklahoma, and involves a dual assignment with approximately 50% of the time dedicated to agricultural programs and the other 50% to 4-H youth development. The role requires active participation as a team member to engage local clientele and advisory groups in planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall OSU Extension County program. Due to the communication demands of the role, the incumbent must maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device, with compensation provided for its use. Requirements

Bachelor's in Agriculture or closely related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date).
No experience required.
Valid Driver's License.
Reliable transportation for travel connected with official duties.
