About The Position

This specific position is located in the Ottawa County Extension Office in Miami, Oklahoma, and involves a dual assignment with approximately 50% of the time dedicated to agriculture programs and 50% to 4-H youth development. The role includes participating as a team member to engage local clientele and advisory groups in planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall OSU Extension County program. The position requires the incumbent to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device, with compensation provided for the use of a personal cellular device. While hired into the organization, future relocations may be necessary. The base annual salary for entry-level educators with a bachelor's degree is $45,000, and for those with a master's degree, it is $51,000. Starting salary is determined by education and relevant prior work experience. Educators with only a bachelor's degree are encouraged to pursue a master's degree. Employment continuation depends on need, performance, and available county funding.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Agriculture or closely related field.
No experience required.
Valid Driver's License.
