About The Position
The Academy of the Holy Names is seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic Extended Day Program Assistant to join our Auxiliary Programs team. This part-time role supports our Extended Day program for students ages 4 to 14, providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment during after-school hours. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with both students and staff, and brings positivity to their role each day.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school or camp setting
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions
- Comfortable using basic technology
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with students during indoor and outdoor play, snack time, and homework time
- Monitor student check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate records
- Enforce program rules and expectations consistently and kindly
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care
- Support the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator with daily program needs
