About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards, helping build customer loyalty by earning trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation's care for vehicle safety and reliability. The role includes completing repair-order work efficiently and accurately, coordinating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, documenting work, and participating in relevant factory training. Success is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. AutoNation offers factory training, OEM certification support, and career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
