About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role builds Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. The technician works efficiently and accurately from repair orders, communicates with Parts and Service teams, documents completed work, stays current with factory technical bulletins, and participates in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Success is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. AutoNation offers paid training, OEM certification support, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and Customer communication effectively.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
