About The Position

Dalton Motors is seeking enthusiastic, honest, hard-working, organized, and customer-service-oriented Express Lane Service Advisors/Consultants. This role is an opportunity to join one of San Diego County's fastest growing and top-rated dealership groups. Dalton Toyota and Dalton Subaru are high-volume, full-service dealerships located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego. We provide ongoing training, including manufacturer training, new product training, and job-specific training by an in-house trainer.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Proficient Computer Skills
• Professional work ethic and high integrity
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Strong problem solving and follow up skills

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming and friendly environment
• Perform a walk around of the customer’s vehicle with the customer
• Update Customer Information
• Work with the customer to evaluate their service needs, review past service history, and make recommendations for repairs
• Check for open Recalls
• Complete accurate estimates for parts and labor
• Partner with service technicians to ensure work is completed and done on time
• Check up on repairs, explain completed work, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Continue to develop skills through training and experience
