Express Lube Technician
About The Position
DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota is hiring an Automotive Lube Technician to perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. This is a full-time, on-site position in Wappingers Falls, New York, and includes Saturdays. The position reports to the service manager. Estimated hourly compensation is $16.00 to $20.00; actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, bonus or commission, and location. The dealership is part of Lithia & Driveway, a group of more than 300 dealerships nationwide. Requirements
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- Ability to operate cars, light trucks, and vans with both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented approach and focus on exemplary customer service.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the applicant's state of residence.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an express or quick-lube technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor maintenance, including changing engine oil and filters.
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
- Communicate appropriate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
