About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence in AutoNation’s care of customers’ vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians complete repair-order work efficiently and accurately, communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, document work performed, keep current with factory technical bulletins, and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate. Success is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. Entry-level technicians are paid $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
