About The Position

The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment located on customer job sites or in a shop setting as needed. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision, including operating specialized equipment like boom trucks and cranes. Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office and service software, is necessary for completing service reports and work orders. The position also involves promoting a positive customer experience and upholding the company's core values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a shop service environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities at customer job site with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL or DOT certification.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software.
  • Ability to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 70 pounds, including bulky objects.
  • Ability to perform repeated reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto and under a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment.

  • Completing service reports and providing pertinent details for work orders using a computer and service software.
