About The Position

The Express Service Technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance according to dealership and factory standards. The role builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in AutoNation as a provider of vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians work with factory training, tools, and support, with opportunities for career advancement across AutoNation’s nationwide locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that can be maintained.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express or quick lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
