About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking an Express Lube Service Advisor to join their Express Lube Team at Kendall Auto Mall in Fairbanks. This role is the first point of contact for customers in the service department, aiming to build lifelong service customers. The position requires strong customer service, time management, work ethic, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize customer needs. The environment is fast-paced and constantly changing.

Requirements

• High level customer service experience
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Strong work ethics

• Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for customers
• Proven strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task
• General knowledge of automobiles and their maintenance
• A valid driver’s license
• A good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Dealership experience is preferred
• Experience in service writing is not required

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed
• Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations
• Inputting and maintaining customer information
• Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner
• Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day
• Scheduling service appointments
