About The Position

Directs staff in expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections. Maintain awareness of customer needs to develop compliance recommendations and decisions and opportunities for enhanced services. Manages marketing of export services and growth of the procurement segment of the business. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Arranges shipping details such as export licenses, customs declarations, and packing and routing product. Expedites import/export arrangements and maintains current information on import/export tariffs, licenses, and restrictions. Effectively manages difficult customer situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in International Business Administration, Finance or Economics, is required
  • 5 or more years of procurement experience
  • 5 or more years of supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to be a team player and work effectively with senior-level staff
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, be proactive and be able to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient at MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized
  • Strong desire to work in a fast paced environment while providing inspiration to a growing team
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment
