Schneider Electric has a hybrid opportunity for an Export Jurisdiction & Classification Specialist to be based in one of the following hub offices: Nashville, TN, Monterrey, MX or Raleigh, NC. The Jurisdiction & Classification Specialist supports the company’s global export control program by determining the regulatory jurisdiction and export classifications of products, software, and technology across applicable international regulatory regimes. This role ensures that accurate and defensible classification determinations are established and maintained within company systems, enabling compliant global business operations. The position works closely with engineering, product management, and regional compliance teams to support the integration of export control considerations into product development and lifecycle processes. Accurate jurisdiction and classification determinations serve as the regulatory foundation for downstream export control activities including sanctions screening, licensing assessments, technology transfer controls, and export transaction reviews. Due to the nature of export-controlled technology and data handled in this role, responsibilities must be performed in compliance with applicable regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821. Access to certain controlled information, systems, or projects may be subject to regulatory restrictions based on citizenship or nationality. Individual technology control plans will apply.
