Export / Import Control Coordinator
About The Position
Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a mid-level International Trade Compliance (ITC) professional to serve in a dual Export Control Coordinator / Import Control Coordinator capacity within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area supporting the Sikorsky line of business. This role combines export licensing and compliance oversight with import operations, acting as a primary point of contact for assigned programs on both sides of the trade compliance function. The ECC/ICC will collaborate with program teams, operations, legal, and functional stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient international trade operations under ITAR, EAR, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and related regulatory frameworks. The individual will also support digital transformation initiatives, process improvements, and compliance risk management across RMS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of related experience working with U.S. import and export laws and regulations, specifically the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

- Licensed Customs Broker
- Ability to be considered for an Empowered Official role
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts and detailed knowledge of ITAR exemptions / EAR exceptions
- Working knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Familiarity with government contracting practices
- Experience with SAP/GTS or similar trade compliance management systems
