About The Position

Cane Rosso is seeking an Expo to manage the kitchen pass, keep tickets moving, and ensure each order is correct, well-presented, and ready to reach guests. The Expo connects the kitchen and dining room, communicates with cooks and servers, and supports smooth service during busy shifts. The role also includes keeping the station clean and stocked, preparing supplies during quieter periods, and helping run food as needed. Restaurant or expo experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn is welcome. A Food Handler certification is required or must be obtained.

Requirements

• Sharp attention to detail and quick movement.
• Ability to stay focused during busy service and when tickets are moving quickly.
• Clear communication and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Pride in accuracy and attention to details.
• Comfort speaking up when something needs fixing.
• Restaurant experience, especially expo experience, or willingness to learn.
• Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform a final quality check on each plate for order accuracy, presentation, and finishing touches.
• Cut, garnish, and plate pizzas carefully.
• Keep tickets organized and communicate clearly with cooks and servers.
• Catch mistakes and speak up before food leaves the kitchen.
• Run food and support the team during busy periods.
• Keep the station clean, stocked, and ready for service.
• Fold boxes, prepare supplies, and get ahead of the next rush during quieter moments.
