The Expo Services role requires a strong understanding of event space needs and the ability to comprehend detailed instructions. Responsibilities include setting up, taking down, and resetting event spaces for various events such as expos, conventions, sporting events, and entertainment within the DECC Facility. The role ensures event areas are set up precisely to the highest standards and meet client expectations. This involves preparing, setting up, and removing tables, chairs, and pipes and drapes for conventions, banquets, trade shows, meetings, and other events. The position also involves assisting DECC clients with event setup, providing courteous help and directions to guests and vendors, and responding quickly to requests for additional setups and tasks. Facility cleaning and other related duties are also part of the role, along with any additional duties assigned.
