About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking an experienced tax preparer to provide exceptional client service in a fun, fast-paced environment. The role involves applying tax expertise, business background, and knowledge of tax laws to prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns and help clients. The position offers hourly pay, a competitive bonus program, flexible scheduling, free tax training and continuing tax education, and opportunities for advancement. The role requires PTIN certification. Most Jackson Hewitt locations are operated by independent franchisees, which are the employers responsible for hiring and employment decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- PTIN certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.
