About The Position

Jovie Childcare, an established nanny and sitter agency with over 29 years of experience in Austin and Houston, is seeking experienced, exceptional, and passionate full-time and part-time sitters to join our team. We serve families in the Greater Houston Areas, including Friendswood to Galveston, Pearland, South Houston, Downtown, North Houston, Sugarland, Katy, Channelview, Humble, Spring, Tomball, Jersey Village, Cypress, and The Woodlands to Conroe. We offer outstanding professional training, preparation, and unwavering support from our managers and booking team. Our caregivers manage their own schedules through an easy-to-use app, with assignments available around the clock, making this a great primary or secondary job for outgoing individuals who enjoy flexibility and working with a variety of families.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• Legal to work in the US.
• Clear background check results and willingness to take a drug screening test.
• Reliable car.
• Driver's license and auto insurance in your name or as a listed driver.
• 2 or more years of childcare experience.
• 4 childcare references (excluding family members and childcare before age 16).
• Proficient in English and technology (email, app systems).

Nice To Haves

• Experienced, exceptional, and passionate sitters.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Care for a large pool of client families in and around the Houston area.
• Manage own schedule through an easy-to-use app.
• Abide by the no smoking policy.
• Ensure clear background check results and willingness to take a drug screening test.
• Utilize reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Provide at least two years of childcare experience and four childcare references (including babysitting, nanny jobs, childcare centers, coaching, teaching, volunteer work, church nursery, etc., excluding family members).
• Be proficient in English and in using technology, email, and app systems for work-related tasks.
