About The Position
Jim Coleman Automotive is seeking an experienced automotive Service Technician for a dual-brand dealership in the DC Metro area. The position offers a consistent workflow across luxury and high-volume vehicles, with warranty, customer-pay, and internal work. Technicians perform routine maintenance, complex repairs, and diagnostics in a modern shop with up-to-date equipment and tooling. Service advisors and dispatch support the workflow, and training and brand-certification opportunities are available. The role is paid flat rate, with strong hours available, production and efficiency bonuses, and the posting describes potential income of $100K–$300K+ while listing $80K–$140K+ as realistic income.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Ability to complete work efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Experience with routine maintenance and complex repairs.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
- Interest in continued training and brand certification.
