About The Position

Blue Compass RV is seeking an experienced RV Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and service for motorized and towable RVs. The position is suited to an experienced, certified technician who takes pride in their work and is ready to lead by example and mentor others in a fast-paced environment. Technicians diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, conduct pre-delivery inspections, and coordinate with service advisors and the parts department. They also maintain accurate service records and keep current with relevant certifications and training.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on RV service experience or a related technical background.
Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of RV systems, including electrical systems, slide-outs, plumbing, roof repairs, appliances, and hydraulics.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

RVIA, RVDA, or manufacturer certifications; alternatively, willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues on motorized and towable RVs.
Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, manufacturer manuals, and schematics.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment and lead by example.
Mentor entry-level and skilled technicians by providing guidance, technical support, and on-the-job training.
Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure all systems are fully operational.
Work with the service advisor and parts department to support timely, accurate repairs.
Stay current on RVIA, manufacturer, and industry certifications and training.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and time allocated in service software.
