About The Position

Blue Compass RV is seeking an experienced RV Technician to deliver repairs and service for motorized and towable recreational vehicles. The role calls for an experienced, certified technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and leads by example while working in a fast-paced environment. The technician will diagnose and repair complex RV systems, perform inspections, collaborate with service and parts teams, maintain service records, and mentor other technicians.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on RV service experience or a related technical background.
Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, slide-outs, plumbing, roof repairs, appliances, and hydraulics.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

RVIA, RVDA, or manufacturer certifications; candidates without them should be willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues on motorized and towable RVs.
Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, manufacturer manuals, and schematics.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Mentor entry-level and skilled technicians through guidance, technical support, and on-the-job training.
Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure all systems are fully operational.
Work with the service advisor and parts department to support timely, accurate repairs.
Stay current on RVIA, manufacturer, and industry certifications and training.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and time allocated in service software.
