About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT, is searching for a full-time Experienced Recruiter to join our team within the Human Resources Department. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, confident, high-energy, goal-oriented, dependable, and has a background in construction recruiting. Outside sales experience is a plus with generating candidates. The Experienced Recruiter will provide day-to-day support to the HR Manager, Department, and Division Managers for Recruiting needs. This position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in face-to-face and virtual environments.

Requirements

  • 2+ years outside sales or recruiting experience.
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling candidates.
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of working for Hunt Electric.
  • Experience in generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 360.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem assessment and problem-solving.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally with a variety of individuals as part of a team at all levels.
  • Possess high levels of energy, creativity, and enthusiasm, and be eager to learn.
  • Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Outside sales experience is a plus with generating candidates.
  • Experience in construction, customer service, or a call center is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into Hunt Electric employees.
  • Maintain job postings on various online platforms and social media channels.
  • Focus on recruiting and hiring highly qualified electrical tradesman.
  • Develop and implement qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources.
  • Create a talent and referral pipeline to reach hiring targets.
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
  • Assist in creating and implementing new and creative ways to increase and promote employee referrals.
  • Utilize our ATS to build a talent database, screen candidates’ resumes and job applications and coordinate interviews.
  • Assist and attend job fairs for various departments
  • Participate in community clubs and organizations to promote Hunt Electric.
  • Coordinate with our HR and recruiting departments.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence.
  • Creative, out of the box thinking.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
