Covington – Experienced PCA/CNA/Caregiver | 24-Hour Client
About The Position
Always Best Care–Atlanta is seeking experienced, dependable caregivers to provide hands-on care for a bedbound female client in Covington, Georgia. The client requires maximum assistance with personal care, repositioning, mobility, and daily activities. The assignment requires comfort providing hands-on care for a bedbound client and experience emptying catheter drainage bags. Caregivers must attend to the client's needs, follow appropriate caregiving procedures, and communicate changes or concerns to the office. Openings are available across three shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Requirements
- Substantial hands-on caregiving experience.
- Experience caring for bedbound clients requiring maximum assistance.
- Experience emptying catheter drainage bags.
- Current, unexpired CPR and First Aid certification.
- Clear TB test result dated within the past year.
- Knowledge of safe caregiving and infection control practices.
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Dependability, patience, and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass the required background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care for a bedbound client requiring maximum assistance.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Empty and measure catheter drainage bags according to the care plan and appropriate care procedures.
- Assist with repositioning and mobility while following safe caregiving practices.
- Monitor the client's comfort and observe for changes in condition or care needs.
- Follow the established care plan and proper infection control practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment.
- Complete accurate care documentation and report concerns or changes to office staff.
- Maintain professional communication and dependable attendance.
